General Information

Your initial consultation will be followed by a pre-operative appointment, which is usually scheduled for two weeks prior to surgery.

You will need to be off of any medications, herbals or nutritional supplements that may interfere with blood clotting for 2 weeks prior to surgery and 2 weeks following surgery. During this time Tylenol is recommended for pain relief. Further details along with full pre and post-operative instructions will be reviewed with you at your pre-operative appointment.

To ensure proper healing we recommend people quit smoking for a least one month prior to surgery.

Depending on your health history, an EKG and/or various lab work is required before having surgery. If you are a female 40 years and older, a mammogram is recommended before breast surgery. Mammograms must be no older than one year.

If any pre-operative tests are required before your surgery let us assist you! We would be happy to help you in scheduling your appointments.

Dr. Burnett performs surgery at the Naficy Plastic Surgery and Rejuvenation Center near Overlake Hospital on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Surgery Fees

We will be happy to provide a general estimate of surgery costs over the phone. A formal quote will be provided at the end of your initial consultation.

Our surgery quotes include all of your pre-operative and post-operative appointments, your facility fee, implants fee (if applicable), and your anesthesia.

Payment for major surgery is due two weeks in advance for the surgeon fee, facility fee and implants (if applicable). Anesthesia fees are payable at the time of service. Financing options are available if desired. We will also assist you in billing your insurance company if appropriate.

Payments for minor procedures such as mole removal or scar revision, non-invasive skin tightening, BOTOX® or Juvederm® injections are due at the time of service.
